Chimborazo's ice pickers have long been subjected for years to the inclemency of the volcano, located in the Ecuadorian Andes. In exchange, they crush some of its ice to provide for their people. Nowadays, it would be an occupation on the verge of extinction if it wasn't for Baltazar Ushca, who despite of his age, walks to the Chimborazo glacier every day for hours to get large blocks of ice which he later sells in the nearest city.

La part du rêve
France, 52 min. 2022
Director: Jean Froment

A few years ago, Letizia, a young goatherd, decided to settle on the land of her ancestors. In doing so, she frees herself from most of the economic and cultural constraints imposed by everyone, wherever they come from. Alone, tenacious, resistant and independent, she humbly invents an unusual and unruly path to take root in her land of Corsica. Unfortunately for her, her sheepfold is located in the territory of Balagne, on the edge of housing estates and beaches. Thus, her dream becomes an act of resistance. Behind this endearing portrait there is the desire to live and change, perhaps not the world, but at least the daily life, to build an “horizon of meaning”.

Climate change is forcing the installation of new green energies. The massive and disorderly development of wind energy is causing the death of thousands of birds. María and José Antonio, two naturalists, have decided to find out the truth and visit eleven mills every week that they have installed next to their town.
