The screenings begin on March 21 at the Centro de Historias in Zaragoza and will continue in April in Pamplona, Comarca del Aranda (Zaragoza),Matarraña (Teruel), L'Eliana (Valencia) and Alto Palancia (Castellón)

'Vida', is the title of the winning poster of the 16th edition of Ecozine Film Festival, the work of Catalan designer Fede Bosch, a visual poetry that focuses on conservation, the preservation of the environment. The image establishes a link between cinema and nature.

Ecozine Film Festival celebrates its 16th edition in Zaragoza with a new image design Ecozine Film Festival, the leading environmental film festival and founding member of the Green Film Network, celebrates a new beginning with a new image design and a focus on a wonderful world, both in this year's spot, created by the filmmaker Jorge Yetano, and in the slogan of this 16th edition.

The multidisciplinary artist Sergio Muro painted Zaragoza's Plaza de España pink in the artistic action "La vida colour de rosa", in collaboration with Flores Aznar, to present to the public the 16th edition of the Ecozine Film Festival, a leading environmental event and founding member of the Green Film Network, which will be officially inaugurated tomorrow 12th at the Filmoteca de Zaragoza.

The 16th edition of the Ecozine Film Festival opened today at the Filmoteca de Zaragoza with the screening, out of competition, of the Uruguayan film "Bosco", by the filmmaker Alicia Cano Menoni, who from Montevideo wished a great day for an event that exhibits productions with the aim of caring for the environment.

The "Focused" section of the 16th edition of Ecozine Film Festival reached dozens of young people from IES Miguel Catalán in this city, with the Spanish-Ugandan co-production "Joy", directed by Aner Etxebarría Moral, filmed in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, in the extreme southwest of Uganda, the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
IES Miguel Catalán held for the second time its Eco Movies competition, in which more than a hundred young people in the fourth year of secondary school, from the Biology and Economics degree courses, participated with short films on environmental themes

The dystopias of the present arrived at the 16th edition of Ecozine Film Festival with animated short films by four filmmakers from Switzerland, Canada, Poland and Spain.
The short films "Autosaurus Rex" (Switzerland, 2022), by Marcel Barelli; "Feeling the Apocalypse" (Canada, 2002), by Chen Sing Yap; "Once There was a Sea" (Poland-Slovakia 2021), by Joanna Kozuch and "Loop" (Spain, 2021), by Pablo Polledri, were presented in this first week of the competition, competing in the Official Selection.

The 16th edition of Ecozine Film Festival hosted today, out of competition, the world premiere of the film "Lincessa, los silencios del bosque", the first fiction feature film by documentary filmmaker Pototo Díez, a fiction film about the life of the Eurasian lynx, a species in danger of extinction in some countries.
In addition, the Dante Alighieri Society of Zaragoza hosted the meeting with the Italian director Francesca Frigo, who exchanged ideas about the making of her film "Il seme del Futuro" (2022).

Ecozine Film Festival began its sixth edition in Pamplona with the screening of the Spanish films in competition "Ganado o desierto", by Francisco Vaquero Robustillo and "Loop", by Pablo Polledri, where it has taken part of its programme as a reference event in environmental issues and creating an audience increasingly interested in caring for the planet.

In addition, the 16th edition of Ecozine Film Festival hosted today at the IES Miguel Catalán the Ecozine Young Film Festival, in which 12 films from Spain, Cape Verde, Argentina, Brazil, United States and Austria participated.

Women filmmakers stand out in the list of winners of the 16th edition of Ecozine Film Festival.
The Berta Cáceres Environmental Commitment Award, in honour of the Honduran environmental activist murdered in 2016, went to the Platform in Defence of the Aragonese Mountains (PDMA) in this 16th edition of Ecozine Film Festival.
