Berta Cáceres Award
The Ecozine Environmental Commitment Award was created in 2008, and in 2018 it was renamed the Berta Cáceres Award. In past editions the prize has been awarded to the following organisations, movements and individuals:

2015 Plataforma por un Nuevo Modelo Energético  (Spain)
2016 Berta Cáceres Flores (Honduras)

2018 Plataforma Salvemos la Montaña de Cáceres (Spain)
2019 Movimento dos Atingidos por Barragens (Brazil)

This year, the award will be announced on 12 April, during the 
Closing Gala of the festival.
