Bosco
Uruguay/Italy, 82 min. 2020
Director: Alicia Cano Menoni
Bosco, a village of thirteen inhabitants, is surrounded by chestnut trees that devour it day by day. The origin of the forest also imposes itself as a destination. An ocean away, in Uruguay, from his chair, Orlando, 103 years old, invites us on a journey that becomes a fable. Between Bosco and Salto, between imagination and memory, a dialogue is built that opens landscapes that exist beyond time and reality. Filmed over 13 years, Bosco explores what remains when everything seems destined to disappear.
